What does it take to achieve leadership in Network Marketing?  What does that even mean?

I listened to a great call this morning where the speaker Brian, talked about this and what it takes to become successful.

To become successful in the Network Marketing Industry you have to start doing things that you haven’t done before:  i.e. stepping out of your comfort zone.  Too many people expect to see results without changing anything about themselves first.  They don’t want to do anything out of the ordinary, they don’t want to do anything that makes them feel awkward or uncomfortable.

I decided to write a review today about building residual income with Network Marketing as I see there still seems to be a lot of confusion out there about this industry.

The first point I want to make about building residual income in Network Marketing is that you cannot do this overnight.  You can do it overnight once you have the experience and the knowhow, but not as a newcomer to the industry.

I started in this industry over three years ago and I too expected to see instant results and expected to start making a ton of money in my first week.  But honestly that is not going to happen.

Have you ever seriously considered how realistic your goals are?

We all make goals for ourselves especially when we first start out in this business.  We get excited, we want to make money so we have some pretty big dreams and most often unrealistic goals.

For instance we might want to achieve a new status in the company each fortnight or month and depending on the company your in, that can be too unrealistic.

Then we keep failing to reach these unrealistic goals we make excuses and brush it off which then becomes a habit and we tend to never achieve any goals whatsoever.
